Pocket Tutor, founded by Ross and Chris, set out to create a subscription-based study platform for Junior and Leaving Cert students. Their vision was clear: provide high-quality, accessible educational resources that rival private tuition but without the financial barrier.
As this was their first online venture, they needed support across every stage — from branding and identity design to website development and SEO. The challenge was to create a professional, student-friendly platform that built trust, encouraged subscriptions, and scaled effectively.
At OWI (Operating With Integrity), we partnered with Pocket Tutor to bring their vision to life, combining branding strategy, e-commerce development, and SEO optimisation.
We began with a brand identity refresh, developing a modern logo and colour palette tailored to resonate with the education sector. From there, we designed and developed a WordPress-powered subscription website that was responsive, easy to use, and optimised for both desktop and mobile users.
Collaboration with Ross and Chris was central to our approach — ensuring the design, features, and content aligned with their mission of affordability and accessibility.
Pocket Tutor successfully launched as a trusted, accessible alternative to private grinds tuition. With a professional brand identity and user-friendly e-learning platform, the project attracted hundreds of students in its early stages and continues to grow as a reliable study resource for Irish students.
This project highlights how OWI helps start-ups transform ideas into reality — building not just websites, but brands and platforms that deliver measurable results.
